I also included a small first aid kit, I didn't need it but I left it with Kathlene's family when I went home. Sinus/allergy medicine, asprin/advil.
Bring a lot of t-shirts and things you could leave as gifts when you return. I know the family appreciated all the clothes I left and I did not miss anything once I returned home. Also I wound up changing shirts several times a day due to the heat so it was good to have several so you didn't have to do laundry all the time! |

Packing for your trip
When I talk to my fiancee's family one of the most requested items is Chocolate. One thing I used was "space bags" in my luggage ( space bags are the bags you deflate with a vacume ) this
made lots of extra room for the goodies I brought for her family. Good luck on your trip ! Tree |

An open mind, all your senses(common the most important here) and your best manners and behavior would be the most important. Don't get scammed at the airport with the taxi bit. You will be a target for over charging because you are a rich foreigner, it was attempted on me too.(and it was successful to some extent) My taxi ride started out at p900 and came down to p250 with a little haggling(p250 was too much too, but you gotta give a little sometimes too) Hopefully your hunny will meet you there when you arrive to take care of this for you so it will not be a problem. Just remember not to get into any altercations or go off with anyone you do not know, and do not let the driver pick up any friends on the way.
Good luck! Roger |
