Back to the Forum!

My name is Ross-my wife Angelita and I were married in Cebu in December of 2001. We live in Wisconsin. We are friends with Bob Lingerfelt (originator of this forum) who also happened to live in Wisconsin. We are planning on retiring in Cebu in a few years.
This website was INVALUABLE in assisting us in dealing with immigration and other issues.
The only thing we can impart is that, when we were waiting for my wife's visa, it took eight months, which seemed like a lifetime, but once it's over, it soon becomes a distant memory and seems like such a short wait after all (I never dreamed I would feel that way or say that!).
Angie is the best person I have ever known and our marriage has gotten better every year. I have travelled to the Philippines about nine times in the last eight years and miss it.
Our best wishes to those of you who are striving to be together-hang in there IT'S REALLY WORTH IT!!!
