Link for CFO seminar: http://www.cfo.gov.ph/counseling.htm
Link for CFO pre-departure registration: http://www.cfo.gov.ph/pdos.htm (to be done when you have passport and visa prior to departure)
There are maps on both to find where they are and on this link extract from the CFO website (it's an Adobe Acrobat file). There are both new and old address in this document:
Click Here to download the CFO-SMEF-COW Guidance and Counseling/Registration Procedures for spouses and other partners of Foreign nationals

Here is the registration form you will have to fill there when you arrive (both for attending the seminar and getting the stamp). Have a look on it or print it to prepare all answers prior to go there:
CFO Information sheet for Filipino Emigrants

Remember that you need 2 valid I.D. with photos in Manila and 1 in Cebu (well, better to come with 2 here also just in case). Here is a thread about valid I.D.s: http://www.filipinawives.com/asawa/v...ic.php?t=11109

Important point: its is indicated in the CFO site that you have to pay P250 fee for the CFO Seminar and again P250 fee for the CFO Stamp from April 2005.

Nota:: there is no reservation so they will take the first 12 or 10 arrived. But you may get a reservation by phone if you have to travel there (call them first).

To help you in preparing the CFO process, read this very useful thread:
CFO Process: A Step-by-Step Guide for Filipinas http://www.filipinawives.com/asawa/v...ic.php?t=15583

Here is the explanation for the both sites. CFO seminar is done in a Convent and pre-departure registration in the CFO offices:

CFO NEWS, 01 April 2005

CFO's guidance and counseling programs for Filipino spouses and other partners of foreign nationals now devolved to St. Mary Euphrasia Foundation-Center for Overseas Workers

The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the St. Mary Euphrasia Foundation-Center for Overseas Workers (SMEF-COW), transferring the CFO's guidance and counseling services to the Foundation starting in April 2005. The counseling program is provided to Filipino spouses and other partners of foreign nationals to facilitate adjustment in their host country. The devolution of the program is part of the CFO's initiative to bring about overall improvement of services to this category of overseas Filipinos, and focus attention on its new programs.

St. Mary Euphrasia Foundation Inc.
Center for Overseas Workers
3d Floo Aya-ay Arcade
Gen. Maxillon Ave. Cebu City
Tel. # (032) 2321033

Its important to go there early if you dont have a reservation. After the seminar, you will be given a certificate of attendance which you will take to the CFO office for the needed certification.. I was there last week

I am writing this from the Harcab Online internet cafe on the first floor of the Aya-Ay Arcade building, so I can speak with some authority.

The address for the CEBU CFO seminar at St. Mary Euphrasia Foundation Center for Overseas Workers is:

3rd Floor Aya-Ay Arcade
Gen. Maxilom Ave
Cebu City

Corner of Maxilom and Rahmann
Opposite the intersection from the Family Choice Pharmacy
On the south side of Gen. Maxilom Ave about a block East of the huge Inglesia ni Cristo church
.

We arrived at about 7am and we registered with the "guard" when he arrived at about 7:30am. Registration starts at around 8 or so.

If you are married you will need:

Originals and photocopies of:

SEPCA MC & BC
Passport (if you have already)
Official photo ID (SSS, Postal, Drivers)
P250 for the fee

More info when I have it.

Here is the Parental consent document to fill and notarize for those who are under 25 years old (taht's the Philippines Laws for marriage, see my other sticky post for the full text).
CFO should require it during your interview:

Special thanks to Becca for posting it.

Just a point:

If you lose your CFO certificate, you can go again to the CFO office (as it's computerized, it should be able to get it at the CFO office or the Good Shepards convent St. Mary Euphrasia Foundation-Center for Overseas Workers SMEF-COW) to get a new copy but it will cost you P500.

new location

I don't understand why the CFO Office in Manila have to move to another place. In the first place in their City Gold Office it is hard to locate . What more with their new location in Aurora, Quezon City!!!!! I mean it is a locayion in Cubao or near Cubao right??? it is so dangerous pa naman in that place!
But to all those who will have to go to the new CFO location, pls tke the MRT ride na lang ,bcz u will be stock in the traffic if u will ride a bus, taxi or jeepney and fx cab.
Ingat ingat to all !!!!!! God bless!!!!!!
Goodluck!!!!!!!
