Documentation required for Austalian Visa

(Coutesy, Ranger)

You will need to be the one to lodge for the Fiance visa in the Philippines. heres a list of documents and procedures.
Note this is for both Married couples and Fiancees so look carefully.

Spouse Visa Documents and Procedures.

Filipina Partner Documents

Barangay clearance (Not a requirement for the Visa)
From local Barangay office. Makes Police clearance easier 2get

Police clearance (NotUsually a requirement for the Visa unless you’ve
been to another country for 12 months or more)
From your Local police station. PNP

Birth certificate
From NSO or Local Serbillus centre or Ecensus
Also for the filipinas children if applicable.

Cenomar certificate
Certificate of No Marriage-or status. Takes 20 days

NBI clearance
From the National bureau of investigation. Department of Justice

Counseling seminar Certificate CFO
From the St. Marys Euphrasia foundation Center for
Overseas Workers. Need this for a new Passport and Visa.req.

Passport
Department of foreign affairs- DFA. Bring to interview.
Send xerox copy of photo page of Passport with visa application.

Completed form 47SP
From Australian Immigration Department or online.
Photosx4
Name written on back of each photo- By applicant.

Marriage certificate
Authenticated version on SECPA from NSO in Quezon city.
If applicable. + Marriage license.

Medical Examination receipt
Receipt from approved Panel Doctor. In Manila Baguio Cebu Davao.
For Filipinas Children also even if not migrating. If Applicable.

Evidence of relationship and Duration.
E-mails Letters Photos etc

Statement of Relationship History
Must be consistent with Australians statement.

Australians Documents

Birth certificate Copy of it But Original is better.
Divorce certificate If applicable.
Form 40sp Filled in by the Australian Partner-Sponsor
Photos x2 As part of the 40sp

D-AOS If the Australian Person is earning less than $24000 per annum. Discressionary Assurance of support papers from Centrelink Australia. Signed by an Assurer. An appointment and attendance is required

Income EvidenceEvidence of Income and assetts. Estimates for the last two years.

Statement of Relationship history
Must be consistent with Filipinas Statement.

Extras

Fiancee visa- Application.
Evidence of actually meeting and length of relationship
Notice of Intended Marriage Lodged in Australia by a marriage celebrant. (Since licence application is valid for only 6 months and visas may take 9 months, a letter from a celebrant is required stating that arrangements have been made)

For De facto Relationship- Application.
Must have been in the relationship for 12 months immediately prior to lodgment of the application.

If getting married in the Philippines
Australian will need
Passport
Birth certificate
Single status certificate- [/b]From his state Birth deaths marriages office.
Divorce decree- If applicable.
CNI- Certificate of No Impediment. Get from the Consular department of the Australian Embassy in Manila-Makati.



Filipina will need
Birth Certificate
Barangay Clearance
Cenomar- Certificate of no marriage.
Approval of parents-If under 23 years of age.

Australian + Filipina will need to undergo a Marriage Seminar- usually at the city hall in the city they are to get married in.
Once the Marriage seminar and sometimes a birth control advice session is completed.
A Marriage License can then be applied for by the two getting married.
Must wait 10 days before the marriage license will be issued.
Then you can get married.
After the Marriage take the particulars back to the City hall and get documents to take to the NSO in Quezon city for Authenticated version of the Marriage certificate.

Visa application
Once all Documents are obtained. And Payment has been made in Australia or with the application or if directed-at the interview.
Ring the Call center and they will arrange to have the application picked up by a courier. It will go to the Australian Embassy in Makati.
If all documents are present- the call center will arrange for you to attend an interview if requested. An E-mail may also be the median for communication with you.
Make sure you know where the documents are being sent back to after the visa is approved. It’s the address you allocated in the application and call center info.
Make sure you know details about your partner and important dates as per your statement
Once you have your Passport returned take it to the CFO for the emigrant sticker before departing the Philippines.

For Papers lodged to DIMIA in Manila ( Embassy) you need to submit original documents and a copy of all important papers. There is no need to have them Stat dec. or Notarised... For papers that are of Philippine origin.

Can be used to provide extra information in support of your application.

School records and Diplomas
Workplace certificates.
Drivers license
Character references from officials or work
Bank account details
Assets- property details
Police clearances from other countries of residence
DSWD - For Filipino Kids-If the minor is traveling with only one of his/her parents, the parent who will be left behind shall execute a duly-notarized Parental Travel Permit (in a form prescribed by DSWD) certifying that he/she is allowing the minor to travel

Form 20 on the DIMIA website tells you what is required for proof of income.
Form 999 tells you the current fees payable.
As at March 2006 total fees to stage of application for permanent residency is approximately $A2000 paid in 2 intallments ($A1400 for fiancee visa application and $A600 for spouse visa application once married in Australia. For those marreid inthe PI the total fee is payable on visa application).
