Dear asawa member,
I would like to inform you that my account under Marizylle in asawa is already in-active. My last post was the querry I addressed to Mr. Bacon, then afer that I tried changing email add in my profile, when suddenly a message appeared "this account is inactive". I tried my best to re-activate my account, but I failed. Because of that, Im now using another account mballon. I had my interview this morning, and I presumed I was approved. The following documents were asked: 1. Pictures TOGETHER 2. Snail Mails/Emails/Chatlogs - She just took the Graduation Greeting Card from my future father in law and from my fiancee. (The $2 Bill that Dad gave me as "Goodluck" took her attention) 3. Affidavit of Support, W2 and ITR 2005 (didn't asked for the Employment Letter and other financial docs) 4. Birth Certificate 5. NBI Clearance 6. Then he let me sign the DS-156K .............. where the Filipina Interviewer (yung puti na ang buhok sa Window 1 PRE-INTERVIEWER QUESTIONS: 1. Petitioners Name 2. My Name 3. How we met and when 4. Personal Meeting, When and how often, How many days...... 5. When she saw our picture in the province, her comment was "Bicol has nice beaches di ba? What place u can recommend?---- so it was just like a normal chit-chat talk.... 6. Then I offerred her my compilation of Tom's 2nd trip to Manila - she rejected it saying that what I gave her earlier is already sufficient...." 10 minutes more, my number appeared on the Q-Board "7016 to Window 27"---- INTERVIEW WITH THE CONSUL - I guess the interiew lasted not more than 3 minutes: Questions Asked: 1. Of course, the undying "petitioners name" 2. My Name 3. How did we meet 4. Why I pick him - (i said, he picked me 5. If we belong in one Faith (referring to religion) 6. I said were both catholic, Consul said - by act or by just the name?...... 7. What are u going to do in the US? --- to be his wife, find a part-time job and study. 8. Do u think u wont regret marrying this man? (tough question....) 9. Tom's occupation, marital status, family background (parents & siblings), living with whom ------------- when I told him that "Thomas is living alone, single, no kid, never been married, an only child, no more parents and his dad passed-away just last April ------------------------------------------- Consul's reply: Okay, u wait for your name to be called, u have to leave the country soon... I just smiled and said "Thank you sir and have a nice day"..... The Consul just concentrated on our pictures and the Greeting Card that Dad (Toms father) gave me catches here attention.......... "what for is this $2 bill?" ------ My answer "Well sir, that is the "goodluck bill" of Dad's for my BAR exam in September. And he read on what Dad had written "I don't know is I would still be able to see u..." - then the consul look at me as if asking "Why?"...... then I told him again that "Sir, he just pass-away last April 29"..... He also asked me about honey's pet - Gizmo (dog) and Freddie (d cat).... That's all.... Then I saw him writing on the green/white stripes sticker.... After a minute my number was posted again on the Q-Board to 35- releasing. The pictures was returned back to me, and a Pink Slip was given and I was directed to pay Delbros..... That's it!!!! Im done with the interview.... That handsome and young Consul in window 27 is very nice..... Nenita, Kylle, Lorna - all asawa members were also approved!!! Thanks to this forum, I learned a lot about the K1 process and of course, had gain new friends........... To those who will be undergoing their interview - JUST BE YOURSELF, there is no reason for you to be nervous ..... You will surely make it,,,,,,, just see to it that ur document is complete. Cheers Marizylle |

Thanks
LenLen,
Thanks so much.....i'm sure ur having good time now with your hubby and new family in the US. Ingat always. Rhia, U will surely make it too. Kinabahan din ako, not that I wont be able to answer Consul's question - its just that, I am not prepared and my mind was not set to received DENIAL........ Pero easy lang, u will enjoy it, I mean, the tension, the anxiety and kaba while waiting for ur turn to take the seat with the consul. Just smile and smile..... Cleo, dearest.... Thanks so much talaga and also to ur fiance Mark. Thanks for replying back all my text messages..... You are right sister, easy nga lang naman, kaso i can't help it na di kabahan. You know what my fiance's reaction "I am expecting u to pass"...... parehas kayo. I enjoyed the moment of nervousness, anticipating what's next, consoling and motivating other applicant who are not members of this forum............ I want to see u before u leave the country. Bikolano, oragun ka talaga!!! Thank u and see u soon. |
