Hi Jas....
Just an advice... you and your man dont need to hire lawyers, it will just cost you much.. save money instead for future needs. Peeps here in asawa would be gladly to help others who undergo same process.. giving and exchanging ideas and experiences, which could be a lot of help to both of you in processing your papers. You may address all your queries to MR BACON.. he's good on visa thing... like we all do here. Goodluck! |

Jasmine, I am another one that advocates doing the paperwork yourself. I realize all to well, the time constraints one faces in relation to jobs and other commitments. However, your future husband will need to set time aside to consult with an attorney, compile his info, as well as your info for the attorney and be available for any questions by the attorney. All this, in addition to paying a substantial fee. All the necessary forms can be filled up in a matter of minutes and downloaded from various sites online. I used http://mag-anak-photos.net/forms/.

An immigration attorney is a very good idea...and very cheap. I paid $250.00 I think, for everything, and you DO NOT need an attorney in Arizona. I live in Florida and my attorney was in Maryland. We Fed Ex'ed papers directly from him to the Philippines, and Eve filled out the forms and Fed Ex'ed back...the attorney checked everything over and submitted them. He did the same with the forms I had to fill out.
http://www.4thelegalgroup.com/ The attorney I worked with was Gary Stanley, I was very happy with the help I got, and he also answers his e-mail within hours. Hope that helps |
