She used to work in Philipps Electronics in Makati as Sales Supv for 15 yrs and just recently, decided to leave the company to use her money to process her student visa application to australia. I believe that her husband's bro and sis are now in australia for couple of years. Now, I would like to know what are the requirements and procedures in applying a student visa in her category...meaning, she graduated a degree in Office Admin but I heard that she will study a culinary (HRM) course in Australia. She said that it would be easier for her to come to Australia because her bro-in-law and sis-in-law are living to that country. It doesn't make sense to me

Appreciate any inputs....

Sheila,

They can check themeselves cuz it is too complicated. I cannot tell you how much because it depends on what course and university she is going. Even if her BIL or SIL lives here it not that easy. Does the sister want to sponsor them? That would be a lot of money for the bond..

1. They have to pay the course or the university
2. They have to show them they have enough money to take care of themselves because a student only aloud to work upto 20 hours a week during term. Some dont let work at all.. Lucky if they allow her. (but she will get payed mostly here 15$ an hour which i think not enough for the whole family).. Sometimes they let you bring the whole family, sometimes not, depends on what course you are going to study. Please read the link below. And it depends on what state they going to migrate. Public school costs 10,000$ a year, more or less.
